Point Sur Lighthouse, a California landmark on the National Register of Historic Places, is open for guided walking tours:

3-hour guided walking tours are available on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m.
A 10:30 a.m. tour at the adjacent Naval facility is also held on Saturdays.

Arrive early and park north of the entrance gate at the side of Hwy 1 (19 miles south of Rio Rd).
The cost is $15 for Adults, $5 for ages 6-17, and Free for ages 5 and under. Tours are first come, first served, so make sure to arrive early.

The walk to Point Sur Lighthouse is a half-mile, with a 360-foot rise in elevation and two stairways between 40 and 60 steps high.
